Andrew's funeral service and reception will be held at Hendall Manor Barns (The Stone Barn), Herons Ghyll, TN22 4BU, on Thursday 20th March, at 2pm for 2.30pm. All are welcome. Ample car parking is available at the venue, but car sharing would be appreciated by the venue, if it's feasible for you to do so.

We would like Andrew's funeral to be an informal celebration of his life, so please wear whatever clothes and colours you feel comfortable in, which can of course include black.

We are going to have a memory board about Andrew at the funeral. If you have a photo or a memory/story about Andrew you would like to share with us, please do bring it with you to pin on the board.

We are requesting family flowers only, but donations can be made to two charities that were especially close to Andrew's heart. He was a keen supporter of Parkinson's UK over a number of years and benefited greatly from local activities run by the charity in Lewes. And in the last two years of his life, he was involved in fund-raising for Alzheimer's Research UK, including a 5k walk in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. Any donations will be split equally between the two charities.

I've got some really lovely memories of Andrew at The Gate House, and I always think of him, and you too Vivien, whenever I'm there. He was a lovely man, and I'm so happy that you've both been able to enjoy some 'Chateau Gate House'. I've found some vineyard photos and I'll bring them along with me on the 20th.
